The King's Invitation

Looking for meaning in your life? Wondering why you're here? Feel like there must be something more? Tired of trying and struggling to make sense of it all? You are hearby invited to find the answers...

Jesus said, "The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son. And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding..." My prayer is something you read here will encourage you to draw closer to the King and enter into His service, and if you do not know this King of Kings, I am honored to deliver His invitation to you. An invitation... to come home.

Know that you have sinned, turn away from your sin, ask Jesus to forgive you, and allow Him to live in you - accept His invitation, accept His gift of salvation, accept His offer of everlasting life with Him.

Is this all there is?

Ever wonder why we do the things we do?  Ever wonder why there never seems to be enough time?  What if we did something ELSE?

We spend so much of our time trying to MAKE a living for ourselves, when we should BE LIVING for Christ.  In other words, its not so much what we do for a living as it is what we do with our living.   We struggle to balance our jobs, our family, our friends, and whatever else seems important to us.  And yet at the end of the day we seldom feel we have accomplished anything at all.  Does this speak to you?

What if we could break out of this pattern?  What if we REALLY let God be God in our lives, instead of having the "God-is-my-co-pilot" bumpersticker mentality.  Does God want to share control with us?  Of course not.  He wants to be the only "pilot" of our lives, but we just cannot accept the fact He is better at running our lives than we are.  Father really does know best.  So what do we do?  Can we be satisfied with less?  Can we HAVE less in order to DO more?

I'm not talking about making time to attend church services or trying to live a "good" life in order to be a witness to our neighbor or co-worker - those are things we should be doing already.  I'm talking about making radical changes and living radical lives which make a radical impact on others.  How do we live it out?  No, seriously, that one wasn't a retorical question.  Tell me - how do we live it out?

Take the church to someone this week – you’ll both benefit.

Is this all there is?

We Live It Out... by being where God is. God is in our everyday life. He allows us to be a part of what He is about when we allow him. It may be in the kind word or jesture, it may be in interceding on the behalf of the hurting, it may be in helping someone financially. When Jesus was here on earth, he was not really radical. All the things he did was to help others. He went to the places the people were. He went to their homes. He went to the towns. He went to the mountainsides. He did not seek the people out. They sought him out. As we seek Him, he will bring us to the place He is. He will use us to minister to those around us that are lost, hurting, needing a friend.... whatever the need may be. We just have to be ready and willing to be used by Him. We have to submit to His will for our lives. Finding that will is not always the easy part. Waiting on Him to reveal that will is not always easy. Waiting is the most difficult. Pray and ask God to place ministry opportunities in your path. Be obedient to what He may want you to do when He does. He is looking for willing vessels. This life is all about the eternal life. We are only here for a short time. What we can accomplish for His kingdom is all that matters. If you are obeying Him, you will find opportunities to promote His kingdom where ever or what ever you are doing.
